Order Mechanism

All POs for Airgas should be made in the CU Marketplace punchout with the exception of the following:

Recurring Orders (Existing recurring orders where Airgas automatically delivers product without Columbia initiating):

• These require a non-catalog "Amount Only" PO using the Goods & Services Form. This was formerly known in ARC as a "Blanket PO".
• The invoices for these transactions will not be sent electronically but will be emailed to you. You must voucher these against your "Amount Only" PO in CU Marketplace.

Rental or lease invoices can be paid using one of the following methods:

• A Non-PO Voucher
• Vouchering against an "Amount Only" PO that you've previously created for this purpose.
• P-Card

Ship To Address

IMPORTANT: When placing a punchout order with Airgas in the CU Marketplace, your order will be delivered to the address that Airgas has on file for your account number, rather than the address listed on the purchase order, unless both addresses are the same. 

If you wish for the product to be shipped to an address different from the one on the account, you must clearly state this in the External Notes and Attachments section of the req under "Note to all Suppliers."

Timely Approval of Orders

IMPORTANT: Marketplace orders must be fully approved by your department and sent to Airgas by 2:30 p.m. to be eligible for next-day delivery (excludes special-order and non-stock gases).

Shipping Information

$3.00 per delivery for all gases and dry ice.

Applicable freight charges for all equipment orders drop shipped.

Returns

Compressed and liquefied gases cannot be returned for any credit.

The manufacturer's restocking fee for any equipment purchases is typically 25% of the original purchase price.
