Purchasing

Pricing has been negotiated to meet the unique needs of our institution. Discounted pricing is available on all products, but we receive our largest discount on commonly purchased institutional systems and product bundled packages which includes a minimum three-year warranty. 

For Dell Standard Configurations, sign in to Dell Premier site (first-time users need to create a password), use the "Save as E-Quote" button, follow directions, then upload the quote with the Goods and Services Request Form.

Pricing

Discounts range from 2% to 31% with the highest discounts applied to Dell's institutional bundled systems, which represent the most commonly purchased University systems.

The most commonly configured bundles are listed on the Dell Columbia University Premier Page front page. You may also customize your desired configuration from Dell's full catalog. Dell is committed to maintaining these bundles at very competitive prices. On occasion, however, there may be limited time and quantity promotions on other Dell retail channels that meet or exceed the bundle discounts. Dell will work with you in such instances, but you must contact our Dell Sales Representative.

Shipping Information

Standard Shipping Charges are waived for Institutional purchases. Expedited shipping charges may apply.

Delivery Installation

Contact the Dell Customer Service Representative for information.

Returns

Contact our Dell Customer Service representative to initiate a return and to request a Return Authorization Number (RMA) before returning any products.

Products must be shipped to Dell in their original packaging, shipping charges prepaid. Returned products must be in as new condition, and all of the manuals, diskettes, power cords and other items included with the products must be returned.
